If you’re new here, my name is Martina Calvi.My IG bio reads “sentimental crafty girl in Sydney” because I treat the internet as my digital scrapbook (and now diary!) to share my crafty creations and life. I like to think that everyday is an opportunity to be creative and make something, just because.This month that’s meant:

Besides content creation and running a small business, I have honestly feel like I’ve lived 100 lives. I’m 28 now and I have filled 20+ journals with stories, experiences and memories.I shot to mild internet ‘fame’ at 20 as a digital illustrator under the moniker Martina Martian, traveled the world for 100 days solo at one point, packed up my life and moved to London for a few years, quit Instagram for a while, worked as a music photographer and creative director and had a few insane life experiences.
I came home (kicking and screaming) to Australia 2-ish years ago. I’ll get into this properly in another post but basically: I finally slowed down. This was around the time I started sharing all of my creations on the internet again, built a bigger following, and how many of you may have found me.
Somewhere along the way we’ve built a beautiful, wholesome corner of the internet for crafty, sentimental creative girls- and if you’re reading this, you’re part of it, too.
