The University of Denver Health & Counseling Center (“the HCC”) is students’ on-campus resource for quality medical and mental healthcare services, useful and engaging health education information, and support through transitions and challenges. We also work with campus and community partners to support your wider well-being and success in studies and life.

How Can We Help You?

  • Scheduling Appointments

Most medial and mental health appointments can be scheduled using the MyHealth portal, including same-day and/or telehealth options if available. If you need help making an appointment or have other questions, call the HCC during business hours at 303-871-2205. Remember to show up to your appointments on time, esle late and no show fees may apply.

  • Contact Us

Call 303.871.2205 during business hours, and our Front Desk staff can help with general information, billing/insurance, scheduling, and/or connect you with triage clinicians for urgent matters. You can also email [email protected] with routine business questions.

After hours, follow prompts to reach our on-call medical and mental health providers. Check our urgent/after hours care page for other community options.

For emergencies, dial 9-1-1 or call Campus Safety at 303-871-3000.

  • Check Test Results

The HCC provides on-site laboratory services for a variety of tests, though some need to be sent to third-party laboratories for analysis. Results will be posted as soon as they become available. You can check on your results and other records by logging into the MyHealth portal.

  • Pay Your Bill

Students are required to pay for all HCC services at the time of their visit. The HCC does not bill insurance companies or Medicaid — those with alternate coverage are responsible for seeking reimbursement from their providers. Students may also receive an invoice for services that were not billed at the visit (such as laboratory tests). Make a payment, download receipts for reimbursement, and get other information on our Payments page.
