INFORMATION ABOUT CONNECTING FLIGHTS WITHIN VIETNAM:
If your journey to Da Nang Airport involves a domestic flight within Vietnam, please note the following:
- You must collect your luggage at the first airport of arrival in Vietnam and check it in again for the domestic flight.
- For connecting flights from Hanoi to Da Nang:
- Due to the distance, you must use the public shuttle bus from the international terminal to the domestic terminal.
- Important information for connecting flights with Vietnam Airlines in Ho Chi Minh City
- International arrivals with Vietnam Airlines are currently handled via the new International Terminal 3 at Ho Chi Minh Airport. This terminal is located further away than the others.
- For connecting flights within Vietnam (e.g. to Da Nang), please note the following information:
- A free shuttle bus runs from Terminal 3 to International Terminal 2 every 20 minutes (travel time approx. 15 minutes). As the shuttle buses are often very busy, waiting times should be expected. Alternatively, taxis are available (travel time approximately 15 minutes, cost approximately £ 17).
- Domestic flights depart from Domestic Terminal 1. The distance from Terminal 2 is approximately 400 metres (walking time approximately 5 minutes).
- You will need to check in again at Terminal 1 and drop off any checked baggage.
- We recommend allowing at least 3-4 hours for domestic flights and at least 5 hours for international flights to allow for possible delays, waiting times, shuttle buses and baggage handling.
TRANSFER INFORMATION: It takes around 1.5 hours to transfer from Da Nang Airport to ROBINSON NAM HOI AN, and approximately 40 minutes from Chu Lai Airport.
